This Super 8 cine film includes footage taken on board and of the TSS Fairstar (aka "The Funship") during voyage No 60 departing Sydney on the 13th February 1981. Visiting Port Vila in Vanuatu; Lautoka, Suva & Savusavu in Fiji; Vava'u & Nuku'alofa in Tonga, and Noumea in New Caledonia, the TSS Fairstar returned to Sydney on the 2nd March 1981. This film includes original sound of the Police Band on the wharf at Suva.

Please note that after more than 40 years this film is showing signs of age deterioration which has resulted in colour loss and is not as clear as it once was. If watching on a computer set to 1080p HD and minimize your screen viewing size to improve image quality but playing on a TV may improve lighting and colour reproduction. Image quality will however vary throughout this film.
