I just paid $10 bucks for the Terminator walking frog Jr. and the look and feel of this bait is very high quality. It was very well made and the plastic feels soft, but not too soft. The VNC hooks are sharp and even though it is small it still weighs ½ oz and casts like a bullet.

I picked this frog to try out for my first frog fish because of a video I watched from Wired2Fish    • Get BIGGER Bites with Tiny BASS FISHING FR...   and it must be popular because I had a very hard time locating it in the bluegill color. I finally found it on Rapalas website. I didn't even know they owned terminator. So I got a couple of them, trimmed the legs down to the size of the body of the frog and put them to work.

I was so frustrated this video and you can hear it in my voice. I end up missing 7 fish and only catching 1! Crazy day with lots of blowups but Ifigured out what I was doing wrong and will fix it in the future.

1- Use a heavy or med heavy rod at least 7 feet long. I was using a 6’ 6” med rod and it just didnt have the backbone needed for a good hookset.

2- I didnt bend the hooks up at all. The frog was super weedless but I missed 7 fish!!!!

3- I set the hook too fast without reeling down on the fish. When they bight it you have to reel down and feel the weight before setting the hook. Make sure you get a good hookset that way.
