The Boys Season 4 Episode 8 Reaction! Episode 4x8 brings The Boys Season 4 to an end with this epic finale. Joe Kessler finally convinced Butcher to go all in as we see him eliminate Victoria Neuman in a jaw dropping sequence that reveals to us what Butcher's powers look like.

While Butcher recovers, Ryan and Mallory visit him and tell Ryan the truth about Homelander and that he must eliminate him; Ryan refuses, eliminates Mallory, and Butcher fully embraces his darker side of Joe after that.

The Seven kill everyone who has information against them at Vought; Ashley injects herself with Compound V. Frenchie manages to get the virus while The Boys are with Singer in a bunker where Hughie discovers that the shapeshifter is Annie and a fight begins; the real Annie appears and eliminates the shapeshifter. Frenchie and Kimiko repair their relationship and kiss. When Homelander reveals that Neuman is a Supe, she calls Hughie to help her and Zoe. When Neuman and The Boys meet, Butcher arrives, kills Neuman with his powers, and steals the virus. Sage reveals to Homelander his plan has succeeded when Singer is arrested for plotting to kill Neuman. The new presidential candidate, Senator Calhoun, swears allegiance to Homelander and enacts martial law commanded by Homelander's army of Supes.

While Butcher flees with the virus, the rest of The Boys try to flee the country but are all captured by Vought, except Annie. In the mid-credits scene, Homelander is shown where Soldier Boy is being held captive.
