Japanese basketball stars Yuki Kawamura and Keisei Tominaga became the talk of the NBA G League "Up Next" All-Star Game, where they were embraced by fans for their exciting style of play.

The annual event, which serves as a showcase for the G League's top prospects, took place in San Francisco just before the NBA All-Star Game.

Kawamura, playing for the Memphis Grizzles' G League squad the Hustle, dazzled the crowd with his precision passes that lead to several alley oop dunks.

Tominaga, a guard with Indiana Pacers' G League team the Mad Ants, had the crowd on their feet with several timely three-pointers.

Both players are making names for themselves in the G League and hope to rise to become full time NBA players.

They also say they hope to continue to inspire basketball fans in Japan and throughout Asia.
