So In today’s episode I am going to give you some information on a trip that you want to plan for yourself. I will be paddling pool 9 of the Kentucky River. This section of the river is a part of the Palisades region of Kentucky. On this float you will be treated to a view of lock 10, you will see beautiful limestone cliffs towering above, you will get a cool blast of air from a quarry vent or cave opening, and there are several options for a meal.

-Length of float: 3 hours/slow paddle

-Level of Difficulty: (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced): Beginner (be aware that water conditions will change with heavy rain. It is a longer float - so keep that in mind).

-Suggested gear: Cooler with drinks and snacks, sunscreen, PFD (lifejacket), camera to take pics.

-Additional Considerations: For a point to point, you will need to arrange for a shuttle or provide your own.
