How I dyed a patent leather coach wallet. I had tried to clean it, however with a lot of stains, yellowing, and transfer marks I decided to dye this wallet. Usually I use very loud colors, which are fun, but I thought I’d show a more neutral pallet for people who enjoy neutral tones more.all of my leather dyes are from @angelusdirect. I reuse the shipping materials, and using Barbasol shaving cream, I put that on top of the shipping material, and dropped leather dye carefully onto the shaving cream before using a plastic palette knife to swirl it all over. In a separate container with Barbasol shaving cream in Angelus leather dye, I dropped the mixture onto the patent leather wallet. I can’t remember if I let it sit for four hours or 10 but I like to let it sit for a long time so that the colors really sink into my projects. And even after that there were a couple of areas I had to redo afterwards because of the creasing in this wallet. Thanks for viewing! Hit like and subscribe for more videos
