**PLAYER INTERVIEW IN DESCRIPTION**
1) What is your real name? Jonathan Rios

2) Where are you from? Alhambra, CA

3) How Old are you? 27 years old

4) What are your hobbies? Playing guitar, going to shows, hanging out with my girlfriend.

5) Whats your top 3 Main characters in SF? Adon, Rolento, the third is a toss up...Ryu? I play a few characters lol

6) How long do you practice per day/been playing SF? I've been playing competitively since 08/09. I practice at least 2 to 3 times per week for about an hour or 2. It's hard to find time with a full time job and girlfriend to play as much as I would like to.

7) Who is your favorite player/look up to in the FGC that also uses your main? I don' really look up other players as much as I used to but if I had to pick I'd say Kiruke2012 and Gamerbee.

8) Do you participate in local tourneys? if so, which was the most memorable? I do participate in locals. When Super Arcade was open I would attend WNF/WNFZ and now I go to UGC every once and a while. My most memorable moment wasn't at a local, it was this past EVO. I sent Mago to losers bracket beating his Yang and his Fei Long.

9) Are you a Pad or Arcade stick player and why? I'm a stick player. I feel stick is better for me. I'm not comfortable playing fighting games on pad.

10) What is your worst match up and why? Worst match up is a toss up between M. Bison and T. Hawk. Bison can keep me out very well and T. Hawks risk/reward is very good on Adon. Like playing seth with more life and damage.


11) If you had one word to describe your play style what would it be? Hmmm...this is a tough one. I'd say counteractive. I try to shut down what my opponent likes to do.

12) Now that Ultra is finally out, what are your thoughts on the changes of your character/s? Well my character is fine for the most part the air jaguar kick being -2 at the lowest height is bad when I play grapplers and I would have liked a 1 hit standing roundhouse for the full 120 damage like it was in the beta. Most of the time I get 1 hit anyway so I would have liked 120 dmg as opposed to the 80 it does now.

13) Which version of Street Fighter is more balanced in your opinion, Vanilla SF, AE, AE 2012 or Ultra and why? Well I really liked Vanilla but given the results of recent tournaments it's looking like Ultra is truly balanced.

14) What tips of your character/s would you tell a new player or someone who looks up to you? I would tell new players to focus on the basics; ground game (footsies/spacing), anti-airs, and getting down your bnb combos. After that I'd tell them to master the instant air jaguar kick. Those are key to learning Adon.

15) Whats Next for you? Trying to play this SF5 beta lol. Next will be SCR for sure and I hope to attend and watch Capcom cup live.

1)Why the Gamer Tag? I'll try to keep this short. I worked at Blockbuster when I met my friends who played SF4. They had another friend named "John" so to tell us a part in conversation, I was "Blockbuster Jon". Fast forward a few months and I am at my first Arcade Infinity Ran Bat. My friend gives me his spot and tells the T.O. my handle is Blockbuster Jon. Prior to that I signed up at tournaments as my name but after that day Blockbuster Jon stuck.

2)What attracted you to (your main/s)? I didn't want to play Adon at first. His voice annoyed me. When SSF4 dropped I played Adon after using most of the new cast and I liked the character design so I stuck with him.
