Garth + Maud Hudson: It Makes No Difference, Pine Plains NY 08 24 18

Live at the Huichica Music Festival, August 24th, 2018 at the beautiful Chaseholm Farms in Pine Plains, New York. The afternoon and evening featured music by Alex Bleecker & the Freaks (with Will Epstein of High Water sitting in on sax), a smouldering set of a dozen Dylan songs by Bettye Lavette, and Mercury Rev's multi-media film/performance/dance set with guests Robyn Hitchcock and Garth Hudson. At midnight Garth and his wife Maud took the stage and played a set of songs by The Band, that included The Weight, The Genetic Method, I Shall Be Released, and It Makes No Difference. The handful of faithful fans who stayed on were treated to an extraordinary performance. When I realized they were opening the set with "It Makes No Difference" I discretely made this video on my phone, which had 3% of its battery power left. Fortunately I was able to capture this beautiful performance.
