Talk about timing! I managed to capture the stream coming back to life once again! Here in Rural Central Massachusetts, It's early August and we are in the midst of an Extreme drought.

With Temperatures in the upper 90's and Dew Points in the mid to upper 70's, Afternoon Thunderstorms drop a Quick inch of rain.

The ground is so dry and hard that it doesn't take on any water. The rocky hilly terrain in this area makes the streams very flashy.

The little brook is called "Fish Brook" for good reason, loaded with little minnows and Brook Trout.
