How to Play Tic Tac Taco

Get ready for some silly, slapping fun in this card game where tic-tac-toe meets tacos! Tic Taco Taco is a fast-paced family card game for all ages.

How to Play: Shuffle the deck and distribute cards evenly face down to each player. The person to the dealer’s left places a card into the center, face-up while saying “Tic”. The next player then puts their card on top of his while saying “Tac”. The next player says “Taco”. Play continues this way (”Tic”, “Tac”, “Taco” etc) until the one of three things happens:

1. A Taco card is laid while someone says the word “Taco.” At this point, all players must SLAP their hands on top of the center pile. The LAST player to slap the pile must take those cards and add them to the bottom of their card pile. They must start the next round.

2. If 3 of a kind are laid in a row (i.e. 3 “Tic” cards or 3 “Tac” cards), all players must SLAP their hands on top of the center pile. The LAST player to slap the pile must take those cards and add them to the bottom of their card pile. They must start the next round.

3. A wild card is laid. When one of wild cards —Burrito, Sombrero or Maracas— is laid. All players must complete the following actions immediately when a wild card is revealed and then SLAP the pile. If a player does the wrong action or is the last to SLAP the pile, they must take the pile.

Burrito: Players must wrap their arms around their chest like a burrito.
Sombrero: Players must form a triangle over their heads like a sombrero.
Maracas: Players must make a fist and shake their hands in the air like their holding maracas.
