Shortness of breath and hyperventilation can be a bi-product of anxiety and overwhelm, leaving a person potentially experiencing a full blown panic attack. In this video I will dive deep into a simple but powerful shortness of breath treatment as we uncover the true meaning of it all.

Do this for your hyperventilation (adding to the technique in the video):

Take a moment to recognize that this is just another symptom of anxiety, nothing more.

As your body wants to go into a panic alarm, begin breathing in through your nose for a count of 4 and breathing out through your nose for a count of 4. Feel the ebb and flow through your belly not chest.

Allow. Allow the need for hyperventilation to subside as it may, as the perceived danger from your subconscious mind subsides and changes into safety. Don't force it or look to see if this anxiety technique is working. Just allow.

Pu things into perspective. This anxiety moment, this shortness of breath, this hyperventilation response was a moment, not a life. No need to over-generalize but to learn from the experience and why your system may have wanted to trigger the panic alarm in the first place.
