Meet Dr. Ella D'Amico, an Academy of Clinical Excellence Awardee and sports medicine fellow in the Department of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia. Soon to join the faculty as an assistant professor, Dr. D'Amico brings a deep commitment to improving patients’ function, identity, and quality of life, no matter the diagnosis.

With a specialty in physical medicine and rehabilitation, she focuses on evidence-based, empathetic care—listening not just to symptoms, but to the full impact of an injury or condition on a patient’s life.
