About A Taste of the Philippines:

This 12-part video series was produced by the Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC) under the project "Food Cultures and Tourism Exchange" aimed at supporting two of the hardest hit sectors by the pandemic - food & hospitality and tourism industry.

In partnership with food writer and author of the highly acclaimed book "Under Coconut Skies" Yasmin Newman and her team of food chefs and restaurateurs across Australia, the project features regional dishes and ingredients from regional Australia and the Philippines complemented by tourism footage from each region.

The project was made possible through a grant from the Australia-ASEAN Council (AAC), of the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, a council founded in 2015 to strengthen Australia's engagement with ASEAN member countries.
