I swear that this was never intended to be an 80s centric thing nor was is meant to focus on bass playing lead singers. These songs just popped into my head as tunes that I really love and wanted to recreate for a challenge. Back in the summer of 2018, I went on a motorcycle trip to Belleville to see Mr. Mister. Not the original band of course but Richard Page had hired some friends of mine to back him up for a couple Canadian shows. I honestly didn’t know much about his music other than that he was the bass player on the gig as well as the golden voice on the records. I remember looking up his discography as well and thinking that I want to be this guy! I’m REALLY glad I got to see him do his thing. It was the best kind of inspiring in that I went straight home to practice!
