Last week I introduced the artist Keith Mallet to our work. He uses colour and line to create an atmospheric effect that suggests a spot light at a music venue.

We will continue with this work during lesson 5 this week. So please bring along your acrylic paints and brushes as well as any drawing materials and images you are using. I will talk about how I am working on my piece and using blending and glazing to build colour into the painting I am working on.
