Southern California International Gateway (SCIG) Overview

Описание к видео Southern California International Gateway (SCIG) Overview

Southern California residents are looking for relief from traffic, pollution and a sluggish economy. Through this process, we learn the roads to good jobs, less traffic and better air quality are all connected.

This is why BNSF Railway Company is proposing to build the Southern California International Gateway (SCIG). Trucks moving goods on the I-710 freeway travel 24 miles from the Ports of LA and Long Beach to downtown rail yards. With SCIG, we can move these goods off our freeways and onto rail, shortening the truck trip from 24 to 4 miles and connecting Southern California to good jobs, less traffic and cleaner air.

Help us tell the Los Angeles Harbor Commission it's time to make SCIG happen. Join the movement at bnsfconnects.com.
