Russia has released new footage showing the latest self-propelled artillery system in its arsenal, the 2S43 Malva, during a training exercise for students of the mikhailovskaya military artillery Academy.Military uniform

The footage shows the students operating the 152 mm howitzer, highlighting the army's focus on introducing new recruits to this advanced artillery platform.

The 2S43 Malva, which was first spotted in combat during clashes in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine and the Kursk region of Russia, represents a modern addition to the capabilities of Russian artillery.

The Malva artillery system is installed on the chassis of the Baz-6910-027 “Voshchina” truck, an 8×8 propulsion platform that provides a large amount of mobility. Unlike conventional self-propelled howitzers made in the Soviet Union, the Malva is designed without a turret and lacks armor for the gun carrier, resulting in a lighter and more transportable vehicle.
