All Together Now — Go (from Excavation of Light) ✴️ — jAMEs dEVERy joliCoeur
In Excavation of Light, visioned by artist, songwriter, and storyteller James Devery Jolicoeur, the glass pyramid at the Louvre becomes both a symbol and a stage — the heart of humanity’s art, science, and memory.
Three excavators stand where the Renaissance once crowned its glass peak, tearing into our collective museum of meaning. They are the machines of our time: relentless, curious, unafraid to dismantle what we once called sacred in pursuit of something beyond it.
The film unfolds as a modern myth: a dialogue between creation and excavation. Before the collapse, Jolicoeur stages a haunting recreation of Michelangelo’s Creation of Adam — two hands, human and divine, almost touching above the pyramid, a final spark between faith and progress. Moments later, the structure implodes, releasing centuries of marble, canvas, and treasure into the Parisian dusk. The scene evokes Dan Brown’s legend of Mary Magdalene’s tomb beneath the inverted pyramid, re-imagined here as the buried heart of creation itself — a chamber not of secrecy, but of awakening.
From the debris rises a question: What are we really digging for?
Beneath centuries of beauty and belief lies a deeper architecture — pattern, frequency, the pulse that connects all creation. Out of this dust emerges a diamond, vast, living, radiant — the crystallized mind of humanity itself.
When the diamond ascends, it is not theft nor apocalypse, but ascension. The Louvre, our temple of preservation, fulfills its destiny not by guarding the past but by yielding to transformation. The divine is rediscovered not in what we keep, but in what we uncover.
The soundtrack mirrors this metamorphosis. What begins in chaos — sirens, radio dispatch, storms, and mechanical thunder — evolves into chant, light, and rhythm. The final EDM pulse is more than dance music; it becomes the heartbeat of the universe reasserting its order.
“All together now — go.”
It is both command and invitation.
Humanity, having dismantled its museum, becomes the art itself — a living frequency rising into the cosmos.
In Jolicoeur’s vision, destruction is devotion, and revelation is rebirth.
Excavation of Light is not a story of ruin, but of resurrection —
of matter into meaning, of sound into signal, of art into awareness.
