How to Crochet: Easy Moss Stitch Hand Towel, Landon Hand Towel, Easy Linen Stitch Hand Towel

How to crochet the Landon Hand Towel - an easy hand towel pattern worked in the moss stitch aka the linen stitch, which is comprised of simple single crochets and chains.

Handmade hand towels are a favorite of mine. I love to make them, display them and use them in my home. This hand towel is perfect for the kitchen, or the bathroom. I use my hand towel purely for drying my hands and decoration, but if you use yours to clean up messes, keep in mind, they may stain your fabric.

Keep in mind that 100% cotton yarn will stretch while hung, and used. In a 6 month time period, my C2C hand towel stretched just under 2" in length. I didn't measure it again after that (especially since it really didn't matter to me), but if you want something that will keep it's shape a little better, try using a blend of mostly cotton paired with acrylic or polyester (as long as not using with heated items) or wool.

**I misquoted the total number of rows in the video - it should be 112 rows. In order for the border to work out evenly, we need to end on an even number of rows.

You will need Worsted Weight Cotton Yarn, a H8/5mm crochet hook for the body, a G6/4.25mm crochet hook for the border and a tapestry needle for weaving. I am using WeCrochet Dishie in the Mushroom colorway.
