Namibia-A stroll in the City Centre area of Windhoek-The Capital City

This is second day of Windhoek- capital city of Namibia. Walking in the City Centre area and Independence Avenue in morning time is relaxing as it gives breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Namibia is situated in the valley surrounded by the mountains. There are lots of attractive green areas in the centre of Windhoek flanked by both modern buildings and fine German-colonial architecture. This city in Namibia is clean and orderly and the pace of life is busy but not overwhelming. Namib desert from where the name of the country derives is along its Atlantic Ocean coast, which I could not travel. The city is small yet spacious with a European feel and African flavour. You can take interesting strolls along the avenues, refresh at numerous sidewalk cafés and find good shopping. ‪@pendulumlife‬ ‬
