A Calif. Zephyrin Ft. Morgan on 20AUG2024 with FRA car.

Today's California Zephyr #5 made its station stop at 0545 MDT (1 min. late but who's counting). Power from P42s # 50 and #13 brought the 9-car train to a stop with car 7 to the station platform for passenger service to 2 departing passengers and then to 8 new patrons. With the good-byes completed, Kelly gave the high ball and on a clear signal the Zephyr continued its westward trek with the next stop being Union Station in Denver. FRA car #DOTX 221 was bringing up the markers today. I think it is on for the entire route to Emeryville, CA.

I was able to get a shot of the Sturgeon Full Moon also known as the seasonal blue moon that is also a super full moon. The ISS was also passing overhead but was unable to pick it up with this cam.
