Breaking news on Times Now: In a big push to 'Aatmanirbhar Bharat', the Indian Navy commissions indigenously manufactured INS Vagir. Admiral R. Hari Kumar, Chief of Indian Navy, commissions 'Made in India' INS Vagir. "It's a lethal platform with a formidable weapon package & state-of-the-art stealth technology," he says. It is the fifth Kalvari class submarine 'Vagir' which was commissioned today at the Naval Dockyard in Mumbai in the presence of Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral R Hari Kumar. These submarines are being built in India by the Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited (MDL) Mumbai, under collaboration with M/s Naval Group, France. Watch the video to know more!
