Superman's arch-nemesis is Lex Luthor, a brilliant scientist, businessman, and one of the wealthiest people in the world. Luthor's enmity often arises from a combination of his own megalomania and his resentment of Superman's powers.

The symbol on Superman's chest, which is often mistaken for an "S", is actually a Kryptonian symbol of hope. His iconic costume consists of a blue suit with a red cape and the symbol on his chest.

Superman has been featured in numerous comic books, television shows, and films over the decades. He is part of the Justice League, along with Batman, Wonder Woman, and other major DC superheroes.

The character of Superman has become an international icon and has had a profound impact on popular culture.
