Get US Plates in Mexico

If you're moving to Mexico, you probably want to have a car. Having US license plates keeps things easy. In this video, I'll share how to get US plates in Mexico, without having to return annually to the US for emissions inspections.

It's pretty common to see South Dakota plates in Mexico. South Dakota does not require you to either living in the state or bring your car to an inspection station. You can file everything remotely and they will mail your plates to you.
