Poor Rhonda! I’m sure she agreed to take part in this show just for a bit of fun and games with her family – little did she realise that for her appearance on Family Challenge she was going to be the target for some very harsh treatment! And that she was going to get a public humiliation that she will never forget!
There’s a part of me that feels bad laughing at a grown woman's humiliation like this, but honestly, this scene is pretty hilarious. :D. The setup involved a game that is a sort of pass the parcel routine, with the loser getting a slime balloon over the head. The very attractive Rhonda clearly doesn't want to get messy, and she tries to cheat and get a young girl contestant to face the punishment instead of her. However, the eagle eyed presenter is having none of this, and when she is found out, she is deliciously presented with a double forfeit of two gunge balloons over the head. It seems that she was perfectly willing to take her punishment after an enjoyable, and not entirely false, display of reluctance, as she giggles, flirts and play acts along. But that attitude will not last ....
I don't think she was expecting those two balloons to do so much mess to her, and she clearly doesn't enjoy being the subject of everyone’s amusement, as the gunge drips slowly down her gorgeous face.
This reluctance makes it all the more of a delight to see the cruelty continue though, as the sadistic presenter doesn't think she has been punished enough; and, clearly jumping at any opportunity to further humiliate this wonderful target in front of her husband, children, and the entire nation, his perverse will dictates that she has to endure ANOTHER two gunge balloons. The fun really begins now, and it is a pleasure to watch how her face and reactions change when she realises that her gunge ordeal is not over! The first onslaught distressed her so much, that she can't hide her dismay at the prospect of being on the receiving end of another. By now she is too upset to continue the act of playing along; and the smiles of just a few second before have completely disappeared - as have any hopes she may have harboured that her husband would step in to stop her suffering; unfortunately for her though, he, like everybody else, is too busy laughing at her, and enjoying her predicament to the full, so there is no escape for her and she is left to her messy fate.
Her quivering lips beg for mercy, but she is fortunately shown none, and gets her entirely well-deserved just desserts, as the balloons are burst over her head again, ensuring she gets a second dose of punishment. The gunge DESTROYS her, and covers her entire face and hair, as an ecstatic crowd laughs and cheers at her state. True to the presenter’s word, poor Rhonda's lips are not red anymore, but are a lovely mix of gungey yellow and green, just like the rest of her face and hair! She is a complete mess, and looks absolutely gorgeous; and what makes it even better is that she can't hide how completely humiliated she has been by the whole experience. She stands with her hands on both hips, as the presenter shows no qualms about standing right in front of her face to admire the damage and gloat about her distress. She struggles to hold back her tears as she tries, unsuccessfully, to wipe the gunge from her face. The incident has been so traumatic for her that she even threatens the author of her misfortune with something as she leaves the stage; but the laughing of the audience, the other contestants, and the cute referee who escorts her out of camera shot completely drowns the threat out as she walks away shaking her head with embarrassment. Beautiful :D.
