Tehran blames Iranian embassy air strike on Saudi Arabia

Iran has accused Saudi Arabia of an aerial attack on its embassy in the Yemeni capital Sanaa.

A foreign ministry spokesman in Tehran, Hossein Jaber Ansari, said: "Saudi Arabia is responsible for the damage to the embassy building and the injury to some of its staff," according to Iranian state television news channel IRIB .

General Ahmed Asseri, speaking for the Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen, said it would investigate the accusation.
