In the wake of Bobby's death and Greg leaving the bay, Sam goes to live with 'Uncle Donald' Fisher who soon learns he cannot cope with a young boy.
Morag, having recently returned to the bay for her estranged daughter Bobby's funeral, seizes the opportunity to concoct a scheme to take custody of Sam.

Last appearance of Morag Bellingham until 2001.
