Yufuin, the destination of this trip, is a small town surrounded by mountains and famous for its hot springs. There are several active volcanos located between Beppu and Yufuin. The highest mountain among them is Mt. Yufu. This video will show Mt. Yufu from the north, west, and south. The altitude varies from below 10m near Beppu Bay up to 800m at Mt. Yufu Trailhead in a short distance. This area is one of Japan's "Must go" places if you love hot springs.
