UNPOPULAR OPINION: Small talk is necessary for deep conversations.

I get it when people say they hate small talk... especially if you're an introvert and you want to dive straight into deep conversations. But this doesn't serve you in every situation!

I see small talk as a key that unlocks the door to meaningful conversations.

Like my advice in this video, have a few questions up your sleeve (find these on google) that you can ask someone the first time you meet them instead of the typical "What do you do for work?"

That rapport building then opens the door for you to have more deep and meaningful talks!
