REALITIES OF YUKON VAN LIFE

After finishing our hike of Tombstone Territorial Park, we took a few days to rest and relax around Dawson City, Yukon!

We dove into learning about both the indigenous culture and history, and the history of colonization during the Gold Rush in the early 1900’s. We did three different events with Parks Canada; a walking tour, a cultural discussion and an escape room - all were excellent!

We heard great things about the Top of the World highway, so we took off for a driving adventure! It was such a stunning place to visit, even if the Canadian/ USA border is closed. Worth a drive!!

The next day we had big plans for a day hike near Tombstone Territorial Park - but we were slightly derailed by our first major vanlife issue. Everything went well, and everyone was safe, and we felt really grateful to have our friends nearby
