How To Draw A Cartoon Cat

I did a zoom meeting with some girl scouts earlier in the year where I was supposed to run through a “how to draw” exercise. I chose a cat because I’m always drawing cats. I think the exercise went well, so I re-did it for this channel. Remember, this is just how I drew this particular cat. It’s not a bad place to start, but there’s hundreds of ways to draw cats so I encourage you to experiment once you have the basics and create all kinds of cats.


Tools and Materials:

This entire cat exercise — blue line, inks, color — was done in Clip Studio Paint. It’s one of my go-to apps for a lot of my illustration jobs.
