Join The Frank Art Gallery in Pembroke Pines for a unique virtual workshop ‘Layers of Texture: Monotype Workshop’ by artist Kim Spivey.


This virtual workshop provides a foundation into the printmaking world with access to tools, techniques, and insights for full artistic freedom.Widely known as the painterly print, monotypes are created when an image made by ink is transferred onto a sheet of paper. Spivey shows how the process is both meditative and experimental by interlacing artistic expression with art fundamentals. In the artist’s own words, “The beautiful thing about monotypes is that there is a lot of space for experimentation and the possibilities of the different effects that you can get really are endless.”
