Hulk (2003) Longplay (Xbox, 60fps)

Описание к видео Hulk (2003) Longplay (Xbox, 60fps)

My first official serious longplay video on a console game. Also, this is the official debut of the new watermark that I had made for two years now, LOL. But I’ll make an updated one soon, once I figure out how to do a proper one.

Well, here it is, folks. The biggest upload I've ever done yet. What started off as a simple gameplay video turned into a new longplay as I've finally beaten the 2003 Hulk video game! I'm so glad to finally do this and share it with you all. My overall thoughts on the game are that, despite being very difficult and having very limited attack moves (Some of which I don’t know how to pull off), it's a very fun game with a really good comic book-style storyline, a nice mixture of beat ‘em up and stealth elements through the separate Hulk and Banner levels, a great soundtrack (Which surprisingly enough reminds me of the Jimmy Neutron TV series due to it’s similar-sounding synth instruments, particularly the strings and horns), and an awesome assembly voice cast from Ocean Productions (Yes, the same ones from Dragon Ball Z) alongside Eric Bana himself reprising his role as Bruce Banner. So I hope y'all enjoy this as much as I have.

I had the game set to Easy for this longplay as it is one of those common 2000s games that are really hard, plus it makes giving the bad guys the good old “one two wam-bam-hu-ha-chu” much more fun. However, I did have to add multiple cuts into this video as there were various times where I lost, particularly on the Banner levels. Also, fun fact, when I finished rendering this video my first time, there were a few gameplay fails I accidentally left in, so I had to go back to my saved file and redo everything all over again. But thankfully, it wasn’t a total loss as rendering for this video only took about a few hours, and it made the video shorter by about 4 minutes. And yeah, I understand if it seems like I kinda suck at this game, that’s just because even though I love video games so much, I’m still not the greatest or experienced gamer ever, although I became even more so as a teenager. But I’m still happy with how this came out regardless, and I’ll still keep my chin up, putting this up on YouTube anyway, so yah.

This longplay uses the Xbox port of the game as nobody really makes videos of this version that much, which is pretty sad. Also I got this hectic find it very fitting as the Xbox is advertised with the color green, and the Hulk is green too. The perfect match! Played through backwards compatibility on the Xbox 360 S. Recorded with the Elgato HD60 S and AmarecTV. Edited wth VSDC Free Video Editor.

Hulk is a 2003 action video game developed by Radical Entertainment and published by Universal Interactive for the PlayStation 2, Xbox, GameCube, and Microsoft Windows. The game primarily features beat 'em up gameplay showcasing the Marvel Comics superhero Hulk, and also includes stealth-based levels featuring the Hulk's human alter-ego Bruce Banner. While the game is a tie-in to the film of the same name (featuring the voice of Eric Bana reprising his role as Banner from the film), its narrative serves as a sequel, taking place years after the events of the film. The plot follows the Hulk and Banner, who must battle their arch-nemesis the Leader and stop him from unleashing an army of mutants upon the world.

Hulk received mixed reviews from critics; while reviewers praised the initial visceral satisfaction of using the Hulk's powers, intuitive controls, cel shaded visuals, interactive environments, sound design, and voice acting (particularly Bana's), they had mixed assessments of the range of fighting moves, music, and storyline, and criticized the repetitive gameplay, lack of enemy variety, simplistic stealth levels, and static camera. The game was commercially successful, selling over two million copies across all platforms. One of the Xbox version's levels was included as a playable demo on the film's DVD release, marking the first integration of a game demo onto a DVD. A stand-alone sequel, The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, was released in 2005.
