Meet Sania Zehra from Balhama, Srinagar—a young woman who has transformed her career from physiotherapy to beekeeping. After completing her non-physio course and working at a hospital, Sania took a bold step: she embraced her family's beekeeping legacy. With support from a government scheme, she launched her own startup, starting with just 35 beehive colonies. Today, that number has grown to nearly 300.

Sania learned the art of beekeeping from her father, continuing a tradition passed down from her grandfather. She sees this work not just as a profession but as a blessing. For her, beekeeping is a reminder of the wonders of creation and the universe.
