Fire Emblem Hero is a mobile spin-off of the Fire Emblem series, a tactical role-playing game similar to Japanese chess game where pieces are heroes various with functions subject to different rules.

Heroes of the offense teams are controlled by players during the player phase and those of the defense team by AI during the enemy phase. The moves of the AI strictly follow certain rules and involve no randomness, namely if one has the effort can write a program to simulate the moves of the AI. In reality, it depends on the players’ familiarity with AI rules to predict movements of the defense team and to act accordingly. One can even sit at a table and write down one’s prediction of the outcomes in turns to come, in fact many do; but it’s also a test to a player’s imagination, calculation, and memory if he chooses not to.
