Описание к видео The First Cheesecake We Ever Made | Buttermilk Pantry recipe

This is the first cheesecake recipe we ever attempted to make and it's still as good today as it was when we first tried it! If you have a stand mixer, you could use it to do all the mixing, but then you'd be missing out on an arm workout, so why would you want that??

The link to the original recipe is below. Hope you enjoy it!

Ingredients:
430g cream cheese
120g caster sugar (or normal sugar is fine too)
3 large eggs (150g of eggs without shell)
270g thick cream
20g cake flour
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:

1. Beat the sugar and cream cheese together until smooth and you can't feel sugar granules anymore.
2. Add the eggs one at a time to the sugar/cream cheese mixture and whisk until there are no more lumps and everything is smooth.
3. Mix in the vanilla and lemon juice.
4. In another bowl, add 1/3rd of the cream to the flour and mix until smooth. Then add another 1/3rd and mix again. And then add the final 1/3rd and mix again. This ensures there are no lumps.
5. Pour the cream/flour into the cream cheese and mix until it's all incorporated.
6. Line your baking tin with 2 sheets of baking paper. We're using a 7" oven safe pot. Trim the edges so that the baking paper doesn't touch the oven heating coils but leave a 1" overhang above the rim.
7. Pour the mixture into the lined baking tin.
8. Preheat your oven to 250C (or the max it goes to) and bake for 30-35mins until the top is dark and almost burnt. It should still jiggle when you pull it out from the oven.
9. Cool in the tin on a wire rack until room temperature (takes a few hours).
10. Chill in the fridge.
11. Remove the cake from the baking paper and serve cold.
