(As of 6/23/2107 this method works for downloading 17.1 as well as 17.3, I have just successfully tested it out my self)

Follow all of the steps in the video and instead of 17.1 the current will be 17.3 select that and begin your download. And just a heads up, TVaddons is currently down so you won't be able to install Fusion at this time.

How to install kodi 17.1 on your amazon Fire stick or Fire TV.

Instructions below

Here's the url you'll need to type: http://kodi.tv/download

Step 1: if you have a previous version of kodi you'll need to delete it before moving on.

Step 2: in Developer Options you have to make sure both ADB debugging and Apps from unknown are turned on.

Step 3: locate or download ES file explorer.

Step 4: after launching "ES" locate the favorites tab on the left hand side and select ADD. Here's where you add the url provided up above to create a bookmark. Once you add the url, name your bookmark and click next.

Step 5: scroll down and open your newly created bookmark and press select.

Step 6: now you'll see the kodi site on the right ride of the screen. You have to scroll down to "Older Releases" once there you'll see a paragraph below it and the last word will be blue say "here"
Go ahead and click on it. Be patient with the cursor, it could be tricky.

Step 7: next you'll want to select "android" followed by "arm/" last you'll select "kodi 17.1" now your download should begin. If not access the "more" tab at the bottom right of the screen and select "open in browser" now your download will begin.

Step 8: after your download is complete click on "open file" you'll be promoted to install twice so go ahead and do that and the installation will begin.

Step 9: after installation is complete select "open" and Enjoy kodi 17.1
