This is a quick video discussing Rabbit Strips (a.k.a. Zonkers) used in fly tying. Just sharing a little information on how they are made, the different types of strips, interesting modifications as well as how did they get to be called Zonkers? Rabbit, and rabbit strips, are used in many flies and over the years I have had many students inquire about them and needing additional information. I am releasing a updated video on the Hammerhead this next week which uses a Magnum Zonker in the recipe of that fly and thought now would be a good time for this supplemental video. - Enjoy
