Interactive museum installation without screens | Motion sensor game table

Описание к видео Interactive museum installation without screens | Motion sensor game table

Challenge:
Small, but very authentic poet museum in Jurmala, Latvia was being renovated in 2015. Museum premises were quite small and the original 20th-century interior was restored, leaving very limited place for the interactive solutions. They needed an unusual exhibition without screens – something unseen in other museums, but without ruining the created atmosphere with digital overload.

Solution:
In cooperation with DD studio, we created a very special chandelier with a hidden computer, projector, speakers, motion sensors and other equipment, so when visitors enter the place it looks just like an ordinary room. Once visitors approach the dining table, our exposition installation, it comes alive and becomes an interactive, fun game table. It is a unique experience for kids and a great way to learn more about the poet and the museum.
