Porsche 993 RUST PROBLEMS 😰

Did we actually discover Porsche 993 rust problems in the middle of my build? YES! What a buzz kill. I LOVE the mods I'm doing to my Porsche 993...but I'll just say that finding rust problems in the windshield and rear glass channels ISN'T what I was hoping to hear.

Porsche 993 rust problems are a very common issue and aren't confined only to the 993 911. This pain in the ass problem touches most air cooled Porsches due to the terrible design Porsche used in the sense that they provided no drainage for the water that collects in the channels.

So, where does that leave me with my Porsche 993 rust problems? Well...luckily, the rust that does exist mainly in the channel around my windshield is surface rust that can be readily and easily removed.

Once that's done, I should be free from future rust issues, at least around the glass in my 993 911.
