US Army rocket launchers and other vehicles head for Exercise Combined Resolve in Germany

Watch several Multiple Launch Rocket Systems (MLRS), an armoured recovery vehicle, many humvees and other US Army vehicles travel by road and lowloader in Bavaria, Germany. The US Army are leading Exercise Combined Resolve at the Hohenfels Training Area, along with multiple allies under Exercise Steadfast Defender.

These vehicles (mostly of the 1st Battalion, 77th Field Artillery, 41st Field Artillery Brigade at Grafenwhor) are participating in the US-Army led Exercise Combined Resolve, along with Challenger 2 tanks of the 12th (UK) Armoured Brigade Combat Team, 3rd (UK) Division, the US Army's 101st Airborne Division, 1st Infantry Division, Czech Army and many other NATO allies and US Army units.

NATO allies on Exercise Combined Resolve have been participating in the Large Scale Global Exercise (LSGE) Steadfast Defender, the largest NATO military exercise to be held since the Cold War. Over 90,000 troops are taking part, with several other exercises taking place within Exercise Steadfast Defender, such as Defender Europe and Grand Quadriga. Armed forces have traveled by road, sea and air all across Europe and the North Atlantic.
