📖 Description:
Every believer in Jesus wears a spiritual garment.
The Bible says in Book of Ecclesiastes 9:8
“Let thy garments be always white…”
That means your garment matters.
In Book of Lamentations 4:14, some garments were so stained that people could not even touch them.
Stained garments repel help.
Polluted garments push away destiny lifters.
But when the woman with the issue of blood touched the garment of Jesus in Gospel of Matthew 9:20–22, virtue flowed.
Why? Because His garment carried purity and power.
Joshua the high priest stood before God in filthy garments in Book of Zechariah 3:1–4, and God removed the dirty garment and clothed him afresh.
🔥 This shows something powerful:
Grace gives you white.
But discipline keeps you white.
Salvation gives you a robe of righteousness (Isaiah 61:10).
But spiritual warfare requires armour.
In Epistle to the Ephesians 6:10–18, believers are commanded to PUT ON the whole armour of God to stand against the wiles of the devil.
God provides it.
You must wear it.
You cannot fight naked.
You cannot live carelessly.
You cannot sit in sin and expect spotless garments.
Epistle of James 1:27 tells us to keep ourselves unspotted from the world.
Book of Revelation 16:15 says blessed is he that watches and keeps his garments.
There are roles every Christian must play:
• Wear the armour daily
• Guard your heart and associations
• Repent quickly when stained
• Stay in prayer and the Word
• Refuse compromise
Because one day, according to Gospel of Matthew 22:11–13, the King will inspect garments.
Not your title.
Not your position.
Not your gifting.
Your garment.
Grace may clothe you in white.
But discipline keeps it spotless.
The question is:
What are you wearing in the spirit?
