If you like bluebells and sewing, you’ll like this! Bluebell Quilt Block - EPP, Applique, Embroidery

In today's video I take you on a journey into the woodland to see the wonderful bluebells, and I show you the bluebell inspired quilt block I made. I have used a combination of techniques, English paper piecing, appliqué and embroidery.
The bluebell fabric is from a lovely shop called You, me and Mabel: https://www.youmeandmabel.co.uk
I added some solid blue fabric from the Tilda basics range from my stash too.
If you want to recreate this yourself, here are the shapes I used:
1 x 3" hexagon
18 x 1" hexagons
48 x 1" equilateral triangles
6 x elongated hexagons with 3" sides and 1" sides
I used hexiform for all of my shapes so it could be left in and so I could embroidery into it. I cut some of the shapes myself from a hexiform sheet. Hexiform is made and sold by https://www.ashmeaddesigns.com
