The train then reaches the city center, and finishes at Mount Herzl.
The view changes constantly from ancient to modern, from the Old City to bustling markets to green parks.
The line starts in the north at Pisgat Zeev, and continues through Arab neighborhoods like Shuafat. It then continues to the Old City,
and then to City Hall.

built by the British military during the First World War. The train ran from Jerusalem and Ramallah all the way to Jaffa. So in one day, you could relax at the beach in Jaffa and then top it off with Humus in the Old City of Jerusalem.
This is one of the busiest places in the city - the entrance into Jerusalem. It was a big challenge for the engineers of the rail to find a way to not add to the traffic, so they turned to Santiago Calatrava, the famous Spanish architect, and he designed this magnificent suspended bridge, symbolically resembling king David’s harp upon which run the tracks of the train.
The extraordinary curved bridge stands at the height of over 130 meters, and from it extends 66 cables suspended entirely of one beam.
