BJP leader Manik Saha takes oath as Tripura CM for 2nd consecutive term; PM Modi in attendance

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Manik Saha, a dentist-turned-politician who steered the saffron party to power in Tripura, took oath as the Chief Minister of the state for the second consecutive term today. The oath ceremony was organised at Vivekananda Maidan in Agartala. The event was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda and several Chief Ministers of BJP-ruled states.
