There is very little I can find about Henri Greder and Jean-Michel Giorgi's two attempts at the Targa Florio in 1966 and 67. The Ecurie Ford France team was more or less an independent, since the factory Ford team was solely focused on Le Mans. Greder had mostly driven rally races before winning the Marathon de la Route at the Nurburgring in 1965 with a Ford Mustang. The accomplishment earned a drive in the GT40 for 1966, with a best finish of 6th at Monza. Although the Mk.1 chassis is significantly lighter than any other GT40, lugging it around the Targa Florio for a 5th overall finish in 1967 is still quite the accomplishment.
