I have a special place in my heart for The Lord of The Rings. I'll admit I haven't read the books in a very long time but my wife and I watch the entire extended edition trilogy, straight through in an entire day every year on Boxing Day. So I can say I at least know the movie versions of #lotr well.

There are 2 #tradingcards sets out there, oddly both are based on #thehobbit trilogy - not the original. Still it's mostly the same sets and costumes, and a few of the same actors so... it works. The "good" set would be Card.Fun's 60$ box, that's officially licensed and has wet signature cards in the set.

This is the other one, the bootleg version made by Magic Card. This costs only ~15$ a box right now. It was a limited print run, only 500 cases, and there are some really cool relic cards available - I did not pull any unfortunately.

Oh yeah, and I kind of obsess over Lee Pace, so, yeah, sorry 😻
