Today is a pleasant weekend day and today we are heading to trek to Shivgange Hill.

So let's get into the world map to have a better understanding of the location. Shiva Ganga is about 53 km from Bangalore city, you could go there by your own vehicle or public transport. The best way to go there is through bike ride. It will take around one 1 and half to 2 hours through Tumkur Road.

Your trek starts from the staircase and ends with the same.

Shivgange is mainly observed for two attractions. One is Lord Shiva Temple and second one is the trekking itself.

The level of trekking, I would say goes from moderate to difficult depending on your fitness level.

While you walk up to the hill, you will love see the spectacular view throughout.

While trekking I would suggest to wear comfortable outfit and trekking shoes. Take a hat with you that could protect you from scorching sun along with sunscreen lotion. If possible take a raincoat with you in case of mizzle.

There is no need to carry extra food or water in your back pack as there are plenty of food stalls available throughout the way. You can buy it anytime. Keep as much light as possible.

Always have light food in between so that you will not get heavy.

At some point while climb up the terrain got too difficult so be cautious to hold railing and measure your safety.

Once you reach at the summit, you'll find a small temple and a breathtaking 360 view.

I forgot to mention along with that amazing view you'll find a lot of monkeys over there, don't carry food exposed in your hand.

It was evening time so we headed for our return. I would like to mention here, the trek closes at 5:30 and at last goes to 6PM. After that if you're hiking then the committee will not allow you. So don't make that mistake
