Howard Jolly, a Cree from Waskaganish, Quebec presently lives in Manitoba. He is the lead singer in the Rising Above Band. He was pastor of the Winnipeg First Nations Community Church since 2006 and is now the Executive Director of the First Nations Alliance Churches of Canada.

Howard has a powerful story of the life transformation that comes with accepting Christ as your Lord and Saviour. He hopes that his story and life honours his people and his God. Howard also shares a song he wrote in response to visiting the unmarked graves of Indigenous children.
