Prosthetists evaluate and measure patients for artificial limbs and other body parts—designing and making prostheses that fit each patient’s needs and lifestyle. The prosthetist in this video is the Clinical Director of Prosthetics at WillowWood, a company founded in Mt. Sterling, Ohio in 1907. Prototyping prosthetic devices is a critical part of his job. Here he works with an amputee to fit and make fine adjustments to an artificial limb designed and built for his specific need.
